During the COVID 19 disaster, he volunteered to deploy to one of the worst-hit high-density COVID 19 Long Term Care Home facilities caring for the elderly and vulnerable residents there. In doing so he had to live in isolation of his family and loved ones for weeks.  This has made an indelible mark in the needed response to this terrible pandemic in the community.  [Link below and HERE]
Jamie is a practising Christian Pastor in Haldimand, Ontario and performed many special events and he has served on many missions around the world.  Jamie is married to his wife Melanie and is a doted father to his 5 children and is really proud to be an "Opa" to his 2 granddaughters.

Jamie has spent a lifetime dedicated to helping people in his community and all over the world and he continues to do so. It is our pride and honor to Profile our ERTSAR Member, Jamie Shurr.
