The Program Source

The Mountain Bike Search and Rescue (MBSAR) program is a comprehensive and effective one established over many years of development and effective use.  We can offer it here through ERTSAR. You will see that it was originally managed through DIMERSAR (now Advanced Rescue by DIMERSAR) and is publicly available on the referred websites below.

However, although we are a non-profit and charitable organisation and do need to raise funds, we are able to offer some discounted and grant options to other volunteer groups.

WEBSITES: You can get more information on the original program HERE and the newer program HERE.

Summer 2021 FREE Sponsored Course

The training and management of this program comes with certain incumbent costs. However we have 50 sponsored positions in the Special Awareness program (which is mostly offered "online" or as distance e-learning) and several in the next program after that we are sponsoring this for free, to bone fide SAR volunteers and emergency responders who are working in a team.

This is part of our 'affiliation' and strategic partnerships to support and work with others around the world to offer this great and beneficial service but are working with limited funds to do so.

This will be available in the Summer of 2021 and we have already started allocating places so if you are interested please get in touch. We would love to help your team benefit from this great resource. Once allocated we will set a start date. If you are not selected after the places have gone there will still be many free resources you can access on the site.
