Training Courses

We provide training for applicants, members and the public. Members come. often with prior training in many areas and we also provide additional training. In some cases members can attend higher level specialists training for free or at a discount (confirming their commitment for a certain period).

We also run many special and discounted training courses year around to the general public and other teams, usually for a discount or for free depending on the course. (This may form part of our income generation. Here's an example of some:)

These are a sample of training we provide through our service charter as well as through recognized partners and approved centre schemes to ensure a high quality, credible and useful delivery of a certificated program.

These courses are provided for a fee as a way to raise funds for the organisation although we also do have free and discounted versions for members and sponsored agencies and attendees.

We run these throughout the year and have them planned on a private intranet calendar. If you are interested in having such training delivered to you or your organisaton please do not hesitate to get in touch and email us at HQ@ert-sar.com

ERTSAR Team Basic Training

All new members complete and satisfy basic training to established standards. This is necessary in order to prepare the members for the types of activities they will do as well as ways to develop and enhance knowledge and skills they may need.
When a member joins they also have access to a lot of required and optional training courses though ERTSAR. Some are offered through online delivery systems and with certificates and others are face to face with practical assessments of required knowledge and skills.

An example of this is the member OTC2 (Operational Training Course Level 2) which all operational members must complete and pass. There certificate (to the right) as awarded to all the dedicated volunteers who do.
