For those of you who have been selected to progress to the next phase.
Please show prompt response and interest by completing the next stages and progressing through training.
NEXT INSTRUCTIONS

Then do PHASE THREE (registering details on the TEAM APP TAS) below
2. PAPERWORK
Then start to get organized and we will need.

NEXT SESSION
3. After your application has been progressed you will get an email to invite you to our next training.
Please ensure have you have completed all paperwork AS SOON AS POSSIBLE within 48 hours.
(If you do not we will assume you do not want to and cancel your invite. ERT SAR is run by your fellow unpaid volunteers and we see proactive team players about to take care of what needs to be done. We need to reserve your spot for the next open training.)
You can also start to organize your uniform if you have it and then we can show you how to wear it.
You will need an iron to press your uniform and polish your boots to a shine.

MORE UNIFORM DETAILS
Your boots you can order anywhere as long as they are full size and polishable. (Ideally should be waterproof. Do not 'need' steel toes / composite safety boots unless in that environment. i.e. Rubble Pile / USAR. No problem if you have though.))
You trousers have to be the navy blue tactical kind with cargo pockets. ("5.11 Tac Lites" from Police suppliers good but Walmart, Marks Work Warehouse also do cheaper versions. No coloured yellow sticker labels etc.)
BEST CHOICE
Most members buy the 5.11 Tac-lite pro midnight blue.
(But just get Navy Blue / Midnight Blue (Not Black) Cargo Trousers with pockets on both sides.)

- Confirmed you meet the ERT SAR standards for dress, deportment, uniform and fitness Prezi HERE

- Met with designated ERT SAR senior members for a face to face or get invited to training [1]
- Decided that you wish to pursue A (Non Ops) or B or C or D SQUAD (Ops)
- Provided proof of identity (We just need a copy of DL or Passport)

- Now you let us know you want to join and pay the annual membership fee below
- PLEASE PAY BEFORE YOU COMPLETE APPLICATION BELOW

- You will be granted Operational membership as an applicant, access to the training and internal documents.
- Just apply for the basic levels and make sure you have updated info and a HEADSHOT photo.

- 2 written references from people who have known you at least 3 years
- A copy of your photo ID (for example: drivers licence / Passport )

- Navy blue Tac Pants with Cargo Pockets
- Black full size boots that you can polish
- Plain Black Belt
- (If it's cool weather - a black long sleeve under)

- duty belt with 2 to 3 pouches with kit
- rucksack / grab bag (Condor 125 ideal)
You do not need it now. We will teach you what to put in it but it will include:
- Food / Snacks
- Drink / Water
- PPE (Level 1)
- Basic SAR gear
- Admin gear
- Clothing layers
- Medical kit

The Joining and Membership fee: the first amount helps us process you and get you your first shirt and membership items. When you are confirmed in the application process as a member the membership fee is due. These are considered 'donations' and it is due annually.
